Guidelines on the Pharmacovigilance System for National Programs in Public Health Interventions
Guidelines on the Pharmacovigilance System for National Programs in Public Health Interventions aim to ensure the safety and quality of medicines. Their purpose is to guarantee medicine safety by providing reliable and timely information on safety issues, thereby promoting pharmacovigilance activities nationwide and encouraging participation in WHO programs to monitor medicine safety at the international level.
These pharmacovigilance guidelines for national programs in public health interventions were developed through consultations with international pharmacovigilance experts and national public health intervention programs, including the National Malaria Center, the National Tuberculosis and Hansen’s Disease Center, the National Center for HIV/AIDS, Dermatology and STDs, and the National Immunization Program.
